Three packages. Flat price, no membership
Screening MRI is not billed to insurance, by us or by anyone else. Insurers do not cover imaging on people without symptoms. So we quote flat prices, and the only thing that separates them is how much of you we image.

The honest version of the cost
What is the difference between the three packages?
How much of you is imaged, and how long you are on the table. Everything else, the radiologist read, the report, the review call, is the same at every tier.
- Essential MRI, $999: 6 regions in 30 minutes.
- Essential MRI Plus Head and Neck, $1,799: 8 regions in 45 minutes.
- Essential MRI Plus Head, Neck and Spine, $2,499: 13 regions in 60 minutes.
Most people start with the Essential MRI. You can move up at checkout, and the cards above list exactly what each one images.
Why isn't this covered by insurance?
Insurers cover imaging when there is a clinical indication: a symptom, an abnormal result, a documented high-risk condition. Screening an asymptomatic person with whole-body MRI has not been shown in randomized trials to reduce mortality, so it does not meet coverage criteria at any major payer. Treat the price as a discretionary health purchase, not a medical bill.
What might it cost me after the scan?
This is the part most screening companies gloss over. A whole-body MRI on a healthy adult frequently turns up an incidental finding. Following one up can mean a repeat MRI, a CT, an ultrasound, a specialist visit, or a biopsy, each with its own cost and its own risk. Those are billed by the providers who perform them, usually through your insurance, and none of them is part of what you paid us.
Can I use an HSA or FSA?
Many people do, but eligibility depends on your plan administrator and whether they treat screening imaging as a qualified medical expense. Check before you assume. We are not able to give tax advice.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No. Self-referred screening MRI is permitted in the states where our partner centers operate. That said, talking it through with your physician first is a good idea, particularly about what you would want to do with an ambiguous result.
What if the screener says I should not be scanned?
You are never shown a card form, so nothing is charged and nothing is booked. If you tell us about an implanted device, a current symptom, or a possible pregnancy, we route your request to a person rather than to a scheduler. Some implants are genuinely unsafe in an MRI scanner.
When do I pay, and can I get it back?
You pay for the package you chose in full on our site, right after the screener and before we hand your request to our imaging partners. There is nothing to settle at the center for the scan itself.
Cancel any time before the scan is performed and we refund you in full. If you miss a confirmed appointment, or cancel it with less than 24 hours' notice, the imaging center charges a $50 fee and we deduct that from the refund. The fee does not apply in CA, CO, IL, NY. Full detail is in the terms.
